Our Business and Bookkeeping Diploma program teaches students the skills needed to work effectively within a business environment as well as the bookkeeping techniques and practices as well as their application in both manual and computerized environments. Students who successfully complete this program will be able to use Sage 50 and QuickBooks Pro to prepare financial records, use Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents and spreadsheets, communicate effectively through written and oral communications, reconcile bank transactions, handle petty cash and understand the basics of double-entry systems. Students will also have the understanding of basic payroll concepts as well as prepare personal income taxes.
Admission Requirements
- High school diploma or mature student status.
- English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Domestic Students: Grade 10 English or Pass English Entrance Exam.
- International Students: language proficiency proof of IELTS 5.5 proof, or CEAL 50, or CLB Level 6, or TOEFL 71, or successful completion of Weston's General English Certificate or pass English Entrance Exam.
